Additionally, 78 percent of respondents identified external sources as the biggest threat-however, in this turbulent economic situation, internal security breeches can be much more significant. The Ponemon Institute conducted a study to affirm such a conclusion, discovering that 6 in 10 employees stole company data after leaving their jobs.
